Perhaps you have noticed the Art Wall in the Main Lobby at the Bluffton Campus and in the Worship Center at the HHI Campus this summer? If you are an artist or a photographer, we would love to have you share your art with us! The assignment for our next church-wide Gallery Show is going to be “Simple Blessings”. Here are the details…

DURATION OF EXHIBIT: Beginning (Sunday) September 12th and running approximately eight weeks.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Art should be delivered to the Bluffton or HHI Campus no later than (Tuesday) September 7th.

DROP OFF: Art may be turned in to Mark Howard at the Bluffton Campus during the week and at the Hilton Head and Bluffton campus locations on Sundays.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The exhibit is open to all visual artists, both professional and amateur. Each artist may submit up to three pieces of original artwork reflecting the series theme. Art displayed on the gallery wall will remain there for approximately eight to nine weeks. A label for the wall will be provided by the gallery and will correspond to a framed information sheet that will be displayed on the gallery wall in close proximity to the displayed pieces. The framed information sheet will include each individual artist’s name, title, medium, contact information, etc.

GUIDELINES FOR EXHIBITING: Please include the following information: Name, title of each piece, medium of each piece and any other pertinent information – such as a website address, email address, telephone number, etc. Also, please deliver your work ready to hang.

Make plans now to attend our One Church…Two locations Celebration that will include baptisms, music, testimonies, and food! Join us as we celebrate the third anniversary of our HHI Campus with special music from the May River Boys, Our New Group – the Ladies of the Lowcountry, Worship with Cynthia Cullen, testimonies of life-change, and baptism at the beach. MOPS (which stands for mothers of preschoolers) is an outreach ministry that is open to all mothers who have children ages 0-4 years old. MOPS meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month (starting September 13) at our Bluffton Campus from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Classes will be offered Thursday nights from 6:15 PM to 8:15 PM through December 16. The first class on September 16 titled Super Savings is FREE to the public. Our Clothing Connection on Saturday, October 23 from 9 AM – 2 PM will be the center piece of our MAD Weekend at both campuses. More information to come!

We are collecting all clothes, shoes, baby furniture and household linens for our 4th Annual Clothing Connection as a part of Make A Difference Weekend (Sorry, no toys). We collect and sort donated goods and give them away to anyone in need. Please bring your donations to either campus Sunday mornings and Mondays – Thursdays during normal business hours.

We need your help in two ways:
1)Donate your gently used baby, childrens, mens, women’s clothing, shoes as well as baby furniture and household linens.
2)Volunteer to help sort, move, organize, and pray for this event.
