Give us your bio in three sentences:

I am the associate student pastor at LowCountry Community Church. My wife, Liz, and I have been married just over one year, and I am going into my fourth year on staff at LCC. I am passionate about raising up the next generation of leaders to pursue a life after Christ.

Q. What’s the weirdest or most interesting job you have ever had?

A. For one year in high school I worked on a horse farm. I never chose to ride a horse, but I specialized in mucking stalls.

What job would you like to have if you were not working in ministry?

Anything that involves professional sports. I am a huge NBA, NFL and MLB fan, and I would have a blast being immersed in that world.

Where is your favorite place to be?

Home. I love traveling, visiting new places, and I love being out in the community, but there is no place like home!

What is your favorite book?

The Knowledge of the Holy” by A.W. Tozer

What is your favorite movie?

Anything with Will Ferrell in it!

What kind of music do you listen to?

Christian Hip Hop

What is your favorite food?

Mexican

What is your favorite thing about living in the Lowcountry?

The scenery! The river, the trees, the ocean, etc. Bluffton is such a beautiful place to live!

What is your favorite Bible verse and why?

2 Timothy 2:13 – “If we are faithless, He remains faithful.”

There is such a beautiful picture of the grace and unconditional love of the Father despite the effort of man that is bound to fall short of His holiness.

Briefly tell us about your role at LCC …

I have the privilege of leading within our Student Ministries department. I, undoubtedly, have the most fun, challenging, rewarding job in the world. I get to work with students! My role includes guiding our students in their relationship with Jesus and giving them the tools and knowledge to learn and grow deeper in their spiritual walk.

How have you seen or experienced God at work in your ministry?

There is nothing like being in the room as students lift up their hands in worship and praise to give glory and honor to our God. We see God constantly drawing students to Himself. Week in and week out, we get to hear of the ways Jesus is transforming our students from the inside out.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

I’m adopted! (And I love talking about it! Please come ask me questions about it!)
