My name is Kim Marshall, and I am blessed to be the preschool coordinator at LowCountry Community Church. I have been married to my wonderful husband Chris for 22 years. We have 3 kids and have lived in the Lowcountry for 13 years.

What’s the weirdest or most interesting job you have ever had?

I was a waitress for many years before I went back to college to be a teacher. Believe me, that was interesting!

What job would you like to have if you were not working in ministry?

I think I'd like to work in the marketing industry. 

Where is your favorite place to be?

New York City in the spring and fall

What is your favorite book?

Charlotte's Web

What is your favorite movie?

“Hamilton”

What kind of music do you listen to?

Christian and country

What is your favorite food?

Anything I don't have to cook!

What is your favorite thing about living in the Lowcountry?

I love living so close to the ocean.

What is your favorite Bible verse and why? 

My favorite passage is Psalm 100. The entire psalm sets my mind straight when I am getting ready to get in the Word. It is a great way to give God praise.

Briefly tell us about your role at LCC …

As the preschool coordinator, I work with the preschoolers on Sunday mornings. I love spending time with my volunteers and building relationships with them. 

How have you seen or experienced God at work in your ministry?

 I have really seen God working through the volunteers who show up every Sunday to build special relationships with these little ones. They have answered their calling and show such dedication to our ministry.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

I played the piano for 15 years before moving to Bluffton.
