Four Reasons to go on an LCC Mission Trip in 2024

by Will Hopson

  1. Grow in Your Faith.

Getting outside of our everyday context and focusing on serving others can be the best catalyst for life change and continued growth in your relationship with Jesus. Imagine what God could do over 7-10 days in a team united for the same purpose of serving God and others.

  2. Obey the Great Commission.

Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus tells us to… “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” As followers of Jesus today, we are called to take the Good News we have found in Jesus Christ and share it with others. LCC partners with organizations and groups who keep sharing the hope of Jesus Christ, the main priority in everything they do.

  3. Serve outside of our local context.

When we travel somewhere new it opens up new opportunities, experiences, and perspectives on the world. At LCC, we focus on serving in ways that spark ideas and interest to continue serving the Lord and people when we return home. We believe what happens on our international trips is important, but the more important part is what we do when we return home.

  4. Expand your understanding of God’s heart for everyone.

Serving in any of our mission trips will help give us a greater perspective of God’s heart for the global world. There isn’t a person, people group, or nation that He isn’t relentlessly pursuing.

So, if you are prayerfully considering joining LCC on mission in Kentucky, Puerto Rico, Poland, England, or South Africa, you can find out more information and apply for a 2024 trip.
