Write your bio in three sentences:

I graduated from Clemson in 2007 (Go Tigers!). My husband, Bryan, and I have three kids: Callie, Cade, and Colt. I work full time from home but also fill my days being a wife, mom, chauffeur, chef, coach, homeschool teacher, calendar manager, friend, aunt, sister, daughter, accountant, nurse, baseball pitcher … the list could go on!

What’s the weirdest or most interesting job you have ever had?

The most interesting job I had was as a middle school camp counselor at Kanakuk Kamps in Branson, Missouri.

What job would you like to have if you were not working in ministry?

I’ve always wanted to be an interior designer.

Where is your favorite place to be?

Anywhere near the ocean.

What is your favorite book?

Other than the Bible, probably “Redeeming Love” by Francine Rivers. I love to read, but I don’t have much time these days!

What is your favorite movie?

There are too many to list! I love all of the Disney classics and pretty much any romantic comedy.

What kind of music do you listen to?

When my kids are in the car, we listen to HIS Radio or worship music. But when I am alone, it is always country!

What is your favorite food?

Pizza!

What is your favorite thing about living in the Lowcountry?

The sunshine and the beach! I have great memories from high school that all revolve around the water—jet skiing before school, hours at the beach with friends after school and on the weekends. Since having kids, we made “Beach Mondays” a tradition that I loved (before they were in school). What’s a better way to spend Monday than at the beach?

What is your favorite Bible verse and why?

Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

No matter what stage of life I am in or what is happening in my life at that time, I love that I can depend on God to give me His peace.

Briefly tell us about your role at LCC …

I have had three or four different roles at LCC (I’ve been on staff for about 10 years!), but right now, I am Pastor Jeff’s assistant.

How have you seen or experienced God at work in your ministry?

I am so grateful to have been a part of LCC for over 20 years, and I have seen His faithfulness in more ways than I can count. God continues to amaze me with what He can do when we are willing to follow Him. In my current role as Pastor Jeff’s assistant, I love seeing how God designs and coordinates each sermon series to be exactly what we need to hear from Him at the right time.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

I have a master’s degree in Math and used to teach high school math.
