This 6-week Sunday Night Bible Study will help you discover the answer to one of life’s deepest questions: "What On Earth Am I Here For?"
Pastor Steven Bell will lead this study and help you find a deeper understanding of the Word of God while strengthening your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This is your chance to find new friends as you dive deeper into the message from each week than is possible during a regular Sunday morning.
How do you build real faith? What is involved?
Faith is as important in your physical life as it is for your eternal life. It requires you to trust God and take Him at His Word. It begins with a relationship with Jesus Christ, His only Son. Nothing about you and how God made you is accidental. In this class, you will learn how to deepen your relationship with God, discover your God-given purpose, and understand how you can live the life He intended for you.
Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others that you have personally trusted Jesus for your salvation. Jesus was baptized when He was on the earth, and we do this to follow His example. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection. We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: You are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are part of a new family.
In this class, you will explore and answer questions about this important step in your faith journey. It’s offered on the last Thursday of each month from 6:30pm – 7:30pm in Classroom 3.
